Research Experience

Ř  Worked on polymer composite to find out its physico mechanical properties. Coir fiber was included with Low density polyethylene(LDPE)  matrix and measured several properties to observe the performance of the composite material. Here physical properties such as tensile strength, elongation modulas, flexural strength measured. Polymer composite’s water absorption capacity also measured.To do this thesis work I was sent to BCSIR(Bangladesh council for scientific and industrial research),Dhaka Laboratory from My department. Dr.Husna parvin Noor,Senior Scientific Officer supervised me in this thesis work,At present she is the Planning Director of BCSIR, Dhaka.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Ř  Jalalabad Gas Plant, Chevron Bangladesh Ltd., Sylhet, Bangladesh                    July 2007-July 2012

            Senior Operations Specialist

·       Troubleshooting, process modification and production optimization.

·       Monitoring and performing process control operations from DCS panel to meet pipeline demand and take action at field level in case of emergency.

·       Analyzing laboratory results for Dew Point of Sales Gas, Lean & Rich EG, Reboiler Distillate, TPH, pH & Chloride content of produced water for a specific well and Sales gas analysis report.

·       Monitoring and checking performance of different types of separators, filters, Heat Exchangers, pumps &Reboiler.

Ř  Global Heavy Chemicals Ltd, Hasnabad, Keraniganj,Dhaka Bangladesh               October 2006-June 2007

Production Officer

·       Supervised the process control operations for safe and effective operations of Bleaching powder production

·       Analyzed laboratory results for different inlet and outlet streams of the process and took necessary actions to ensure quality of the product

 

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

Worked at Jalalabad Gas Plant Laboratory for the following topics:

·       Finding the source & mitigation for scaling/fouling problems on EG Regeneration Equipments.

·       Finding the cause & mitigation for EG Loss from EG Regeneration System.

·       Corrosion control of Produced Water Tank which was caused by Sulfate Reducing Bacteria (SRB).

Co-Supervised undergraduate thesis of 4 groups of intern students from Shahjalal University of Science &Technology. The topics were:

·       Design of Ethylene Glycol Regeneration System and RVP Control of Condensate.

·       Cause and mitigation of EG Loss and determination of Optimum EG Injection Rate.
