On
October 27, 2008, Dr. Sung Park and Dr. John Willis (from Northrop Grumman
Corporation) visited Dr. John Guo and his Integrated Composites Laboratory
(ICL) in Dan F. Smith Department of Chemical Engineering at Lamar University
(Beaumont, Texas). A brief description of the company and research strength of
NGC was presented by Dr. Willis. Both Dr. Park and Dr. Willis commented on the
current research interest and future collaboration with Lamar University. The visit was ended after a
mutual-discussion with faculty members from Lamar University and the school
tour to the Major Facilities on Campus. The visit was very successful and the
joint research goals were solidified!
