On May 1, 2012, Dr. Stephen Z. D. Cheng (Robert C. Musson Trustees Professor, Dean of College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering, Senior Editor of Polymer, University of Akron) visited our Dan F. Smith Department of Chemical Engineering and Lamar University (Beaumont, Texas). Prof. Cheng gave an invited talk “Giant Molecules based on Nanoatoms: Size Amphilification, Function Diversification, and SelfAssembly Manipulation” to the faculty members and graduate students in Lamar University. During the visit, Prof. Cheng has met Vice president Dr. Doblin, Dean of College Engineering Dr. Hopper, Chair of Chemical Engineering Department Dr. Ho, Chair of Chemistry and Biochemistry Department Dr. Bernazzani and other faculty members.  Prof. Cheng also had lunch with some faculty members and Ph.D. students, and had given great advices on the young generation education, which is highly helpful to our Ph.D. students.
